Product Description

Advantage for this type of CCM:

1. Unitary and compact structure. All the configurations are in one unitary frame, so the whole machine can be lifted at one time. Apart from water tank, users do not need any other infrastructure investment. The machine can be used just by connecting water and electricity.
2. The machine height is low. Installment and commissioning is not carried out on site. And there isn't operator under the machine. Thanks to the above mentioned characteristics, the safety of operators is guaranteed, and equipment will not be damaged when there's breakout.
3. The height is only 50% of the traditional full-arc caster. After cutting the slab, its temperature is high, so secondary heating is not needed before sending to rolling mill.
4. It's named "fool machine" by customer due to the characteristics of easy operation.
5. The power take-off mechanism (such as motor, reducer, gear box) on the traditional 5-roll straightening machine is changed into side. Long axis with universal joint is used to introduce power to withdraw roll. So the baking of above mentioned mechanism from high temperature slab is solved. Thus daily maintenance is reduced and the lifetime of machine is greatly prolonged.
6. The deformation rate of caster is more reasonable due to the characteristics of multi-arc design and gradual straightening plus multi-point straightening. One biggest characteristics of this machine is its excellent performance in casting crack sensitivity steel thanks to the application of liquid pool soft reduction and other relevant new technology.
